ELECTRICAL REBUILDER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING Wednesday, December 13, 2006 The meeting began at 7:40 pm EST via conference call. Mike Schroeder, Alan Melton, Chris Thompson, Mike Dietrich, Larry Hagemeister, Kenny Turner and Bob Thomas were in attendance. The meeting began with some minor modifications to the 2007 budget. An expense item for Membership Drive Expense was added for the amount of $2,500. The expense item for Advertising for the Association was removed for the amount of $2,000. And $500 was moved out of the Show Booth Expense to Membership Drive Expense. No changes were made to the totals. The final budget was approved by unanimous vote. A copy is attached. The 2007 seminar schedule was discussed briefly. Bob suggested he contact all regional VP’s who plan to attend, as well as the membership committee, chaired by Jerry Keiffer who, like Larry, lives in Oregon. Larry said he’d get the committee rolling soon after the holidays. The final item to be discussed concerned a setback Joe Davis encountered following the final seminar in Ft Lauderdale. As most are aware, Joe’s motorhome blew an engine last year in North Carolina on his way home following the last seminar. Last winter Joe had to replace that motorhome with a newer 1996 model with 11,000 miles on it, and planned to get at least two years out of the low-mileage engine. However, history repeated itself.
