‘dixie verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of an intermittent failure to start or crank and my also comment that the engine periodically stalls for no reason. The technician may find that there are no diagnostic trouble codes stored in the various modules. Typically, if diagnostic codes are retained, they would be: U0100, U0140, U2105, U2107 or U2108. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is an improperly routed wiring harness chaffing and shorting against the parking brake cable. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s inspection and repair procedures, when applicable. The procedures include inspecting the harness, which runs across the top of the transmission and down the left side and may be pressed or pinched by the parking brake cable, it is suggested that the harness retainer be moved into the lower hole, away from the parking brake cable and that any damaged wiring be repaired or replaced.
