The noise is most prevalent at idle speed for 10 minutes after start-up with the cold ambient temperatures. Cause: A possible cause for this is a faulty idler pulley. Correction: The manufacturer recommends replacing the idler pulley with a new one (dealer part number 6L3Z-6C348-A) following the manufacturer’s recommended procedures.
