Minutes: ERA Board Meeting Wed., June 17, 2009 Start time 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Larry Hagemeister, Ronnie Charnes, Jim Thomas, Ken Plourde, Chris Herring, Wes Grueninger, Tom Barrett, Kenny Turner, Dick Vensel, Mike Dietrich, Chris Thompson, Mike Schroeder, Joe Bradish, Daren Roggentien Meeting Agenda: 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson reported all bills were paid in full as of June 17, 2009, with a balance of $34,420.62 2: Technical Committee Report: a: Wes reported that the forums have been updated as of June 1, 2009. b: A new feature has been added to the ERA website. It is the BizOMeter. Members can anonymously report the state of business in their shop. c:Wes is working with new software that he obtained the week of June 15 that will allow him to size videos to fit the needs of ERA members. d: Mike will contact Bob and give him the OK to make his reports to the committee shorter. He will only need to show Subject, Shop and time spent on each call. He will try this for one month and report on how it is working. 3: Engineering Form Report: a: The technical committee will work on the form to send to vendors. The committee will contact vendors on setting up a contact person in their business that will work with the technical committee on developing this form. This person will be responsible for working with the technical committee on issues with parts. The technical committee will make note of this person and the date. b: This form will be outlined on the problem rebuilders are facing a particular part. It will be structured so the vendor and the ERA are working together to solve the problem. c: This form will be available for board approval in 1 to 2 months. 4: Old Business: The next ERA show has been tentatively set for Covington, Kentucky. There hasn’t been a date set as of this time. A suggestion was made that Polly be contacted on moving the show to late March if possible. Motion made by Joe Bradish to adjourn.
