Minutes: ERA Board Meeting Weds. August 19, 2009 Start time: 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Ronnie Charnes, Mike Dietrich, Joe Bradish, Jim Thomas, Kenny Turner, Tom Barrett, Ken Plourde, Larry Hagemeister, Mike Schroeder, Wes Gruenninger, Henry Henke, Daren Roggentien. Meeting Agenda: 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson was on vacation 2: Membership Report: a: Tom Barrett has taken the duties of membership committee director and is still getting up to speed with everything. He would like to have all the Vice Presidents serve on the membership committee. b: Tom reported that we have 454 members and are hosting 2 web sites. 3: Technical Committee Report: a: Wes reported that he has received Jimco generator manuals. He has started work on putting these on the ERA web site. b: Wes is finishing consolidating search engine on finding information on the ERA web site. He should have this finished the week of August 17, 2009. When he has this completed he will start on videos. c: Usage on the Tech Line is way up. In the month of July there were 87 calls with a total of 610 minutes. Discussion was had on putting the top questions with their resolve and sending these to Polly for publication in the ERE paper. 4: Old Business: a: It was reported in June that the next show would possibly be held in Covington, Ky. Larry reported that he had talked to Polly and she is planning on having it in Kansas City now. He talked with her about having it downtown instead of at the airport where it was held in 2009. b: Polly would like to keep the show at the end of April. Several members responded that this is the start of their busy season and probably would not be able to attend if it was held at the end of April and would like to have it no later than the second week of April. c: Mike reported that there was nothing new on the wiring diagram information and should have more information at September meeting. 5: New Business: a: There was no new business reported.
