Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday June 16, 2010 Attendees: Tom Barrett, Jon Prinvale, Jim Thomas, Dean Conner, Larry Hagemeister, Wes Grueninger, Joe Bradish, Ken Plourde, Chris Thompson, Henry Henke, Daren Roggentien 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson reported a balance of $18,140.39 with all bills paid in full 2: Membership Report: a. b. Tom Barrett reported as of 6/1/2010 the ERA had 445 members Wes Grueninger reported that the ERA has received its first Global Subscription membership. Dick Vensel and Juan Grube volunteered to send an add for the Global Subscription to there international customers. Wes Grueninger is working on an add for them to send. 3: Technical/Training Report: Boop Wes Grueninger reported that the technical line has had about the same usage. The next technical article for the ERA Web Site will be on Generator Regulators. Wes Grueninger has several training videos ready to release on the ERA Web Site. Technical articles for the ERE Newspaper will be shortened up to try and get rebuilders to use the ERA Web Site. Attendees were encouraged to get a video camera and start making videos. Joe Bradish has made videos and told attendees that it’s very easy and does not take much more time to do the video than the actual repair job. Gene Kaiser from Regitar is making a video of his presentation at the ERA Trade Show to put on the ERA Web Site. 4: Old Business: a. Daren Roggentien asked attendees if invitations to ERA board meetings had to be extended to ERA board members only. Jim Thomas informed attendees that the bylaws stated that anyone from the association could be invited to ERA board meetings. 5: New Business: a. Question was brought up about the ERA Trade Show possibly going to multi shows per year and having another organizations share the sponsoring of the show. Ken Plourde reminded everyone that the ERA Trade Show is Polly Shea’s show and that the ERA is only one of the sponsors that Polly works with to organize the ERA
