Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday July 21, 2010 Attendees: Ronnie Charnes, Tom Barrett, Larry Hagemeister, Jerry Keiffer, Dean Conner, Mike Schroeder, Alan Reynolds, Joe Bradish, Wes Grueninger, Bill Skillings, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. Special Guest: Bill Ernst 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson was not available to give the treasurers report. 2: Membership Report: a. Tom Barrett reported as of July 19, 2010 a membership of 434. 3: Technical/Training Report: a. b. 4 Wes Grueninger informed attendees that all the video cameras have been sent out to members. Wes Grueninger is working on a new section for the ERA Web Site. It will have operation manuals on equipment. He is scanning the information and should have it operational by 7/23/2010 for members to view. Mike Schroeder informed that the ERA Tech line has the normal amount of usage. The training committee is looking into purchasing a video for the ERA Web Site. The video is on machine tool operation. Members can view a sample of this at machineshopsecrets.com. Wes Grueninger has set up a web site for a rebuilder member. New Business: a. Membership Drive: Ken Plourde Ken Plourde presented attendees information on VASA an Australian organization. It is an organization made up automotive electricians and automotive heating and cooling technicians. He thought this could be a way for the ERA to get information of the ERA Global Subscription to other countries. Wes Grueninger will draft a letter for the ERA Board to approve and then contact the CEO of VASA. b. Advisory Board: Joe Bradish Joe Bradish informed attendees that Bill Ernst will be replacing Tim Goode on the ERA Board of Advisors. Being no further business Joe Bradish made a motion to adjourn.
