APRA to Conduct Clinic at ERA Show The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) will be conducting an electrical clinic on March 26 at the conclusion of the Electrical Rebuilder’s Association (ERA) Show in Charlotte, N.C. The ERA Show events run from March 23 through 26. The clinic will open with APRA columnist Mohammad Samii describing operational theory and common pattern failures of some modern starters and alternators. He will also explain in detail the PCM activation and control of the various GM, Ford, DaimlerChrysler and selected import charging systems. Exchange columnist Greg Neuenfeldt will end the morning with the basics of grease formulations, including the lubrication of drives, spiral spines, gears and bushings. In addition, Neuenfeldt will discuss potential problems of improper lubrication. “This addition to the ERA Show and the commitment by APRA to conduct one of their highly regarded electrical clinics will go a long way in providing the electrical rebuilders with the latest information to help improve their bottom line,’ said ERA President Mike Schroeder. Schedule, registration and accommo- dation details for all Charlotte events are on pages 14 and 15 of this issue.
