1ode ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – A failure to crank. – Longer then normal cranking cycle times. – Slow, hard cranking. – Various electrical component failures up to and including a dead battery. The technician may find low battery codes stored in the system, but not in all cases. Cause: A possible cause for the above conditions is a poor connection to the under-hood battery cable junction block, located near the left front strut tower. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and repair procedures which include inspecting, cleaning the terminals and properly tightening the fastener.
