divi | # | [| { & | verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2010 — 2011 Chevrolet Equinox* 2010— 2011 GMC Terrain* * With Climate Control System C67 or C68 Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – Frequent low/dead battery conditions after parking for a short period of time (overnight). – The engine fails to crank or start. The technician will observe no diagnostic trouble codes, but when performing a parasitic (quiescent) drain test will observe a 70mA or greater draw. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a flaw in the HVAC control module that prevents the module from going into the sleep mode. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and repair procedures which include reprogramming the module with the updated calibration file.
