Additionally once restarted the OnStar® on “LED” may not be illuminated (when checking 1 minute after starting the engine). Cause: A potential cause for the above is that the OnStar® system may keep various modules from going into the sleep mode. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s diagnostic and repair procedures which include measuring the parasitic drain for 10 minutes (do not open doors or activate locks etc. during the test). If the parasitic drain remains over 380 mA remove the OnStar® fuse or disconnect the OnStar® module connector and perform the test again.
