Cause: The codes are stored in history until the GDS2 scan tool is used to reset them, even if they have been rectified and resolved. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for diagnosing problems and clearing diagnostic trouble codes. When using the GDS2 software Always follow the circuit system verification prior to proceeding with circuit system testing.
