chiwia . & | [| { 8 | oxen / TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: Various Applications: 1992 — 1993 Mack CH and CM models Condition: Vehicle operators with models CH and CM built between January 1, 1992 and May 1993 may experience intermittent no crank/start or excessive crank time.. Cause: This is caused by an inadequate ground connection at the starter relay Correction: To eliminate this condition, install an 18 gauge jumper wire from the starter relay lower mounting bracket to the outboard terminal of the adjacent master ground circuit breaker. The only wire attached to the inboard terminal of the ground circuit breaker should be BK-A-19-0, which is the main ground wire from the starter. If any other wires are connected to this terminal, disconnect them and reconnect these wires to the outboard terminal of the breaker.
