Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a faulty idler pulley that may cause the belt to wear and slip prematurely. Correction: Inspect under the hood of the vehicle to see if there is a decal referring to service campaign H369, if so then the faulty idler pulley has already been replaced, if not, follow the manufacturer’s recommended replacement procedures.
