LEXIE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2011 — 2012 Buick LaCrosse 2011 — 2012 Buick Regal 2011 — 2012 Chevrolet Cruze 2011 — 2012 Chevrolet Equinox 2011 — 2012 Chevrolet Malibu 2011 — 2012 GMC Terrain 2012 GMC Sonic Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – That the engine cranks but fails to start. – The engine does not crank and there may be a clicking sound. – The transmission is leaking fluid. – The transmission shifts harshly or skips gears The technician may observe – That there are no warning lights illuminated. – Multiple warning lights are on (service engine soon, charge battery etc.). – No diagnostic trouble codes stored in memory. – No transmission oil pressure. Cause: A possible cause for the above condition is a damaged transmission fluid pump. Correction: Follow the manufactures recommended diagnostic and repair procedures after inspecting fuse F6UD, which would blow if the engine is seized or run without oil. The fuse is the 250A one located in the battery fuse block.
