1ode ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-80018 A-80375 Applications: 2006 — 2007 Mitsubishi Raider 3.7L Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of a chirping sound when the steering wheel is turned to a full lock position. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a slipping alternator belt. Correction: On applications where the above is a concern the manufacturer recommends replacing the factory supplied pulley with a clutch pulley. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended replacement procedures when applicable which includes shimming the pulley out to the appropriate position.
