Cause: This vehicle has a feature that lowers the windows 10mm when the door is open. The vehicle raises the window 10mm when the door is closed. The purpose of this feature is to reduce the effort required to close the door while keeping wind noise to a minimum. If the battery is removed with the window in the up position with the doors closed damage to the roof, seal, runners or glass may occur. Correction: Before disconnecting the battery for any service open both the driver and passenger door. With the doors open disconnect the battery. The doors may be closed while working on the vehicle but open them before reconnecting the battery. This will help ensure nothing gets damaged or pinched between the window and seal.
