LXE } TECH TIPS Applications: 2009 — 2010 Pontiac Vibe 2.4L Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or both of the following conditions: – There is an intermittent sharp noise at start up. – There is an intermittent noise at idle The technician may observe diagnostic code P0335 immediately after the noise is heard. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is the intake cam phaser not parking properly. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for diagnosing, inspecting, and if required replacing the air intake phaser.
