ELECTRICAL REBUILDER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING Wednesday, September 1, 2004 The meeting began at 7:08 pm via conference call. Mike Schroeder, Chris Thompson, Alan Melton, Polly Shea and Bob Thomas were in attendance. The first Item of business was the 2005 budget. Conservative estimates were used for income. This included the transfer of a percentage of dues from each membership to the training fund. It was decided that $100 from each supplier membership, $50 from each warehouse membership, and $25 from each rebuilder & individual membership would be deposited directly into the training fund. The 2004 budget was then compared to the expenditures so far this year, and estimates were made for expected expenditures for 2005. After the first draft was completed, income and expenditures where very within a few hundred dollars of one another. Adjustments were made to balance the projected income and expenditures. A copy of the 2005 budget is attached. Next item of business was setting the agenda for the advisory board business meeting scheduled for September 11 in Atlantic City. It was decided the agenda would be as follows: Treasurer’s Report 2005 Budget Membership Report Fall Membership Drive Website Progress Report Website Sponsorship Program & Funding Technical Education Plans for 2005 Desk Reference Sales ERA Brochure for Membership Drive Trade Show Booth Committee Advisory Board Members 2005 Officers It was decided the next trustee meeting would be on Friday evening, September 10 in Atlantic City.
