ELECTRICAL REBUILDER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING Wednesday, January 19, 2005 The meeting began at 7:15 pm via conference call. Mike Schroeder, Alan Melton, Chris Thompson, & Bob Thomas were in attendance. Polly Shea did not attend. First item of business was the Atlantic City Show. Discussion was limited because Polly was not present. Alan said he had talked to both Juan and Carolyn Grube this week, and they were still committed to giving away a test bench at the show. Mike said the seminar brochure is being put together. Joe is working on some photos to represent the Friday evening class in the brochure. The goal is to finish up the brochure and have it printed in February. Mike also clarified that any registrations that come in to the ERA office for the first seminar at EMS would be forwarded to Chris. The first seminar at EMS was booked last year, before the new seminars and ERA schedule were developed. Although not officially a part of the ERA schedule, it was listed on the schedule to enhance it. The discussion of ERE delivery to members was postponed until the next meeting. Finally, Bob pointed out that the following positions expire in May: President, National Vice-President, Secretary and the SE, SC, & NC Regional Vice-Presidents. Any advisory board member who is interested in filling a position should talk to Alan, who chairs the nominating committee. Anyone who is filling one of these positions should let it be known if they are, or are not willing to serve another term. So far, Polly is the only officer who has asked to be replaced in May.
