Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Meeting Wed., May20, 2009 Start Time: 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Larry Hagemeister,Ken Plourde, Joe Bradish, Daren Roggentien, Jim Thomas, Mike Schroeder, Jerry Kiefer, Henry Henke, Wes Grueninger, Ronnie Charnes, Chris Gaelbreath, Bill Skillings, Jason Kiser Meeting Agenda: 1: Membership Report: Jerry Kiefer reported 10 new members as of 5/1/2009. Current paid membership as of 5/20/2009 is 455 this is rebuilders and suppliers. Jerry will send out a list of delinquent and members that have dropped out to Regional V. Presidents. 2: Training Committee Report: a: Wes reported that the software needed to be upgraded so he can produce web videos.Members will be able to access these videos on line. Maximum cost to the ERA would not exceed $1,500.00.Henry Henke made the motion to provide funds to Wes not to exceed $1,500.00 to purchase software. Motion seconded by Bill Skillings which passed unanimously. b: Mike reported that he had talked to Dick Vensel about breaking down the soldering video so that it could be accessed in smaller segments on the web site. He will talk to Joe Davis about information that can also be put on the web site. 3: Engineering Form: All agreed that we need a form to send to suppliers notifying them that we are having problems with a particular part.Wes and Larry will work on a letter that we will send to suppliers to set up a contact person with their company that we can work with. They will have this letter finalized by the next board meeting for board approval. 4: New Business: a: Larry had a conversation with Polly on our input for the show location for 2010. Some thought that an area with more attractions might help with attendance. b: Larry asked that board members come up with more ideas on the show and tell portion at the show. c: Wes reported that he heard a lot of positive talk on the show floor about members more than willing to share information with other members. He will work on a slogan for the ERA. (1.e.: rebuilders helping rebuilders) 5: Old Business Motion made by Joe Bradish to make Juan Grube a lifetime honorary member of the ERA.
