Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday August 15″, 2012 Start Time 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Henry Henke, Ronnie Charnes, Chris Thompson, Wes Grueninger, Bill Ernst, Drew Withrow, Alan Reynolds, Jerry Keiffer, Mike Dietrich, Kenny Turner, Mike Schroeder, Bill Skillings, Ken Plourde, Rick King, Bob Thomas, Larry Hagemeister, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers report: a. Chris Thompson reported a balance of $26,523.04 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. 2: Membership Report: Tom Barrett forwarded the following information that he received from the ERA office. a. b. b. a. The ERA has a current membership of 453. There were 35 renewals for the month and 4 new members. Jerry Keiffer informed attendees that Kristina Hillegas had been ill and had not been able to begin her duties at the beginning of the month. Ken informed that he had spoken with Kristina and informed her that Bob Thomas and himself would be available to help her get started with membership calls. Bob Thomas also replied that he would forward any non members that he has contact with through the ERA Tech Line. Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that the ERA Tech Line had normal usage the first 2 weeks of the month but has been very busy since with 6-7 calls per day. Wes Grueninger reported that he has added a catalogue library to the ERA Web Site. So far there is a large collection of Ace, Aim, IPM and others available to members. Wes informed that he would continue to add catalogues as he receives them. Bob informed that the committee had discussion on brushes, armatures and air starters. Dean Conner informed the committee that He and his son Mike are working on creating a video on 2.5 kw Denso starters. Dean also informed that they would do a video on Ingersol air starters. Old Business: Exide Buying Group: 1. Tabled until the September board meeting.
