Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday November 20″, 2013. President Henry Henke called the meeting to order at 6:30pm CST. Attendees: Henry Henke, Art Glass, Rick King, Ronnie Charnes, Alan Reynolds, Chris Thompson, Kenny Turner, Mike Schroeder, Mike Dietrich, Bob Thomas, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. Chris Thompson reported that the ERA has a current balance of $27,913.39 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. The ERA also has 2 remaining CD’s. Chris gave a report on a profit and loss statement that he prepared. After discussion attendees agreed that the ERA was doing well after the purchase and start up costs associated with the purchase of The Exchange Newspaper. A motion was made by Mike Schroeder to accept the Treasurers Report. A second to the motion was made by Ronnie Charnes. All ayes. Motion approved. 2: Membership Report: a. Mike Schroeder informed attendees that the current membership of the ERA is 432. For the month of October there were 4 new members. Mike reported that looking back at some of members that have not renewed that some had retired, some had closed their shops and some have passed away. A question was asked on the West Coast membership drive? Mike reported that it was not working and decided not to pursue it any further at this time. Ken Plourde asked if any information was available on Guest Memberships? Mike reported that he didn’t have any information on the Guest Memberships but will look into tracking this information and create a folder on this. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Bob Thomas informed that he was unable to attend the meeting. Bob reported that the second week of the month he is busy finishing up Exchange Newspaper information. Bob would like to have the day of the month moved for the meeting. No action was taken on this.
