Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday June 3″, 2015 President Mike Dietrich called the meeting to order at 6:30pm CDT. Attendees: Ronnie Charnes, Art Glass, Matt Wight, Scott Scharrer, Bob Thomas, Howie Gore, Mike Dietrich, Bill Skillings, Henry Henke, Kenny Turner, Mike Schroeder, Lynn Gross, Drew Withrow, Ken Plourde, Gene Kaiser, Jerry Kieffer, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported a balance of $11,449.11 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Mike informed attendees that he has sent a detailed profit and loss report to the ERA Executive Board and the ERA Board of Directors. Mike added that if anyone else would like a copy to please contact him. 2: Membership Report: a. b. Scott Scharrer informed attendees that he has received the contact information of 2 Suppliers that had shown interest in joining the ERA and will be contacting them. Scott reported that he has spoken with Wes Grueninger about setting up a level on the ERA Web Site for him to view membership information. Scott added that he would be able to view Guest Members and would be able to follow up with phone calls to them. Scott reported that he did not have a current number on the ERA Membership. Mike Schroeder reported that there are currently 423 members according to the ERA mailing list. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. b. Howie Gore reported that May was the first month that the Technical/Training Committee has used the ERA Web Site to conduct business. Howie informed that the Committee discussed the following: 1. 39 MT Delco starters for a Technical article for The Exchange Magazine. 2. Information on old wiper motors. 3. Wire size charts. 4. Information on replacing 29 MT Delco starters with Leece Neville units. 5. Ken Plourde and Bob Thomas had a discussion on purchasing late model units to research replacement parts and do research on problems that would be occurring in them. Ken reported that there isn’t a current line item in the ERA budget for purchasing but could be added to next year’s budget. Mike Dietrich added that these purchases could be brought before the ERA Board for approval for now.
