Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday September 16, 2015 President Mike Dietrich called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm CDT. Attendees: Howie Gore, Art Glass, Ronnie Charnes, Alan Reynolds, Scott Scharrer, Bill Ernst, Mike Dietrich, Matt Wight, Kenny Turner, Ken Plourde, Mike Schroeder, Larry Hagemeister, Lynn Gross, Gene Kaiser, Bob Thomas, John Brillman, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. Mike Schroeder reported a balance of $17,217.45 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Mike added there was a large renewal of memberships in the month of August. 2: Membership Report: a. Scott Scharrer informed that the ERA has a current membership of 429. b. Scott reported there were 6 new members for the month of August and 1 guest membership. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Howie Gore reported that there hadn’t been any activity on the ERA Technical/Training Web Site but expected that to pick up. 4: Exchange Magazine Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that most ERA members had received there copy of the magazine by the 10°” of the month. b. Bob informed that he is working with Stephanie on available space for the October issue. The Technical article that he is working on has a lot of text and photos. The issue will be 20 pages. A question was asked on the cost to add 4 more pages to the magazine. Mike Schroeder informed that the cost of printing would be an extra $300.00 dollars but is being offset by advertising dollars. Bob added that everything is going good with the magazine. c. Lynn Gross commented that he had attended the APRA Electrical Clinic in Chicago and attendees showed a lot of interest in the Exchange Magazine.
