Inquire if this was when the wipers were left in the intermittent or low speed setting during start up. Cause: The wiper motor wiring may have been routed to closely to the passive anti-theft system module. Correction: Verify if the vehicle does not start with the wipers in either of the above modes. If it fails to start inspect the wire routing as shown below and if incorrectly routed tie-strap the wire further away as shown.
