The vehicle may also have similar problems with the system timing when using the one touch instant start feature. The technician will find no diagnostic trouble codes stored in the memory. Cause: A possible cause for the above condition is radio interference on the crank shaft positioning sensor signal. Correction: To correct this the manufacturer has released a ground strap with a built in capacitor to reduce the radio interference. The dealer part number for ground strap is AE5Z-18801-A. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended installation procedures to install the replacement ground strap.
