The noise will be most noticeable when decelerating from 1500 RPM to 1100 RPM. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is a manufacturing flaw in the idler pulley. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for diagnosing and replacing the pulley and belt if required. The manufacturer’s part number for the updated idler assembly is ZZC2-15-940.
