1ode ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-6217 S-80027 S-80028 Applications: 2002 Nissan Sentra 2.5L 2003 — 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8L or 2.5L Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that the engine cranks for a prolonged period before starting. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is a flaw in the fuel pump which results in lower then normal fuel pressure. Correction: The manufacturer has released a fuel pump kit, 22670-ZG80C which also requires gasket 17342-01A00 to install. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and repair procedures when applicable.
