Cause: The above condition may be due to poor contact between the battery and terminals in the transmitter. Correction: The transmitters were revised by the manufacturer during production. The revised transmitters have a different anticorrosion material on the terminals. If the transmitter date code is prior to 11/28/08 it will require replacing. The part number for the transmitter is GSYL-67-5RY, follow the manufacturers recommended procedures for reprogramming the system for the new transmitter.
