LEXIE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2010 — 2011 Toyota Prius Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain that the malfunction indicator lamp is on and/or the engine will not start. The technician may observe diagnostic trouble codes P3190, P3191 or POAOF stored in the powertrain control module memory (ECM/PCM… they mean the same thing). Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a flaw in the ECM/PCM programming. Correction: The ECM/PCM file must be updated with the most current one, changes to the ECM/PCM file are to be noted on the emissions decal located to the right of the front hood latch. The ID number will show 34715300 or higher if already performed and will reference the TSB: T-SB-0205-11.
