chiwia . & | [| { 8 | LD f TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-9509 A-80211 A-80216 Applications: 2005 — 2008 Nissan Frontier 4.0L V6 (built prior to VIN 1N6AD 0(xxx)8C 437234) 2005 — 2008 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0L V6 (built prior to VIN 5N1AR 18(xx)8C 656034) 2005 — 2008 Nissan Xterra 4.0L V6 (built prior to VIN 5N1AN 0(xxx)8C 531034) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of belt slippage (chirping or squealing) under one or both of the following conditions: e On start up in cold or damp conditions. e After driving for an extended time. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is misalignment of the drive belt and accessories and tensioner. Correction: Inspect that the pulleys are correctly aligned. Adjust the position of the power steering pump if required. Note: The factory-supplied auto-tensioner may require replacing. The part number can be observed by using a mirror. If the part number is 11955-EA20A it does not necessarily require replacing, however; if the number on the auto-tensioner is 11955-EA200 it does require replacing. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures and torque requirements when aligning the drive system components and replacing the auto-tensioner.
