ELECTRICAL REBUILDER’S ASSOCIATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING Wednesday, December 15, 2004 The meeting began at 7:10 pm via conference call. Alan Melton, Chris Thompson, Polly Shea, Mike Schroeder & Bob Thomas were in attendance. The first item on the agenda was finalizing the 2005 seminar plans. Mike presented a list of “host” guidelines which were accepted with only two additions. (copy attached) Mike also said he believed we should re-think the seminar scheduled for the show, where only four hours had been scheduled. After much discussion, Bob suggested that Joe be contacted before any changes were made. Alan contacted Joe, and he joined the conference call. All agreed to hold the first class in Atlantic City on Thursday night and the other two classes Friday. The show seminar was then added to the seminar schedule to reflect the change. (copy attached) Bob pointed out that a room would be needed for Thursday evening. It was decided to let attendees buy their own lunch Friday at the convention center’s food court, just outside the seminar hall. Mike had previously agreed to be the contact person for seminar hosts, and said he would contact all who had expressed interest in hosting a seminar. He said he would try to find hosts for all seminars prior to the January ERE deadline of December 20. Alan said that the APRA has told him they would like to co-sponsor one seminar. It was agreed to send them a schedule once hosts had been finalized. Bob pointed out that the host would have to be in agreement with APRA co-sponsorship before it could be considered. The show was the next item discussed. Polly said she had not contacted Snap-On yet, nor had she talked to any vendors about providing prizes for the door drawing. Bob said Scott Furman has volunteered to help him procure or build a device for drawing prize winners. The meeting concluded at 9:15 pm. The next trustee meeting is scheduled for January 5% Respectfully Submitted, Bob Thomas, Secretary
