MINUTES: ERA Executive Board of Directors Meeting Wed., Feb. 18, 2009 Start Time: 6:38 pm CST ATTENDEES: Hank Henke, Dick Vensel, Joe Bradish, Ronnie Charnes, Jerry Kieffer, Jim Thomas, Tom Barrett, Kenny Turner, Daren Roggentien, Mike Schroeder, Ken Plourde, Bill Skillings, Chris Thompson, Chris Galbreath and Mike Dietrich. AGENDA 1) TREASURERS REPORT BY CHRIS THOMPSON With all bills paid in full, the checking account has a balance of $30,680.93. 2) MEMBERSHIP REPORT Jerry Kieffer reported 1 new member in January. On Feb. 10th, the newly formed committee of Jerry Kieffer, Tom Barrett and Chris Galbreath met for the first time and discussed new ways to increase membership. An email blitz and flyers to be shipped with supplier orders were considered. Chris Galbreath has a list of 2008 former members and trial website users and will try to get regional VPs to contact them concerning membership. 3) TRAINING COMMITTEE REPORT Mike Schroeder discussed Wes Grueninger’s proposal for future training (see Ist ATTACHMENT). An email from Dick Vensel with questions pertaining to Wes’ proposal was discussed (see 2nd ATTACHMENT). Further questions from board members regarding Wes’ proposal were requested. The board will go forward in a positive direction to work out the details of this proposal. 4) NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT BY KEN PLOURDE The Nominating Committee of Ken Plourde, Bob Thomas, Daren Roggentien and Chris Galbreath met three weeks ago and reported they have contacted most nominees. A slate of nominees should be ready for the next board meeting. 5) KANSAS CITY BOOTH COMMITTEE Jim Thomas asked Jerry Kieffer to chair the Booth Committee and Hank Henke, Mike Schroeder, Ken Plourde, Mike Dietrich, Tom Barrett, Daren Roggentien, Jim Thomas and Kenny Turner volunteered to help. An order for phone-style stickers to promote the Tech Help Hotline has been placed by Mike Schroeder for delivery before the show. Mike Schroeder will inventory ERA items and report to the board at the next meeting. 6) OLD/NEW BUSINESS a) Old Business e =©Mike Dietrich asked for a report on the Tech Help Hotline. Mike Schroeder gave details of Bob Thomas’ report from the Training Committee meeting on the Hotline. Call numbers have been consistent and there have been a surprising number of calls on generators. e The APRA check for the November Joe Davis seminar has been received. b) New Business
