Minutes: ERA Board Meeting Weds. July 15,2009 Start Time: 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Chris Thompson,Dick Vensel, Wes Grueninger, Chris Galbreath, Henry Henke, Ken Plourde, Joe Bradish, Jerry Keiffer, Jim Thomas, Larry Hagemeister, Mike Schroeder, Ronnie Charnes, Daren Roggentien. Meeting Agenda: 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson reported a balance of $23,390.51 after all bills were paid. 2: Membership Report: a: Jerry Keiffer reported 459 suppliers and rebuild as of 7/15/2009. b: Jerry is going to step down as membership director; Tom Barrett will fill this position. 3: Technical Committee Report: a: Mike Schroeder reported the technical committee had been working on offering on vehicle wiring diagrams as a benefit to members. The ERA office would do a phone poll to 50 members on whether this would be something they would be interested in as an added benefit. Motion was made by Joe Bradish to poll 50 members on increasing benefits offered by the ERA with on vehicle wiring diagrams. Seconded by Henry Henke. No objections. Motion carried. Darlene will handle the phone poll. b: Wes finished on a new and improved “Find a Rebuilder’. It now includes Canadian Territories. It can be accessed from the home page of the ERA web site with the new logo,” We are Electrical Problem Solvers, We can help”. c: Wes is working on generator wiring diagrams. d: Wes reported their had been 600+ hits on the “Find a Rebuilder” web site the previous month. e: Mike is working on calling suppliers on questions we need to have on the tech form. 4: Old Business: Larry will talk to Polly to see if it possible to change the show date from late April to March. The calendar will need to be checked to make sure this won’t interfere with other events. 5: New Business a: Discussion was had on whether Suppliers who are also rebuilders could be found on the Find a Rebuilder on the web site. Wes will set up a category for Supplier/Rebuilder. b: A questionnaire will be sent with supplier renewal form on the services they offer and if they offer walk in trade as rebuilder with retail counter sales. c: Change dues renewal form to read payable in US dollars. d: Question was brought up on whether Canadian members were getting their papers on time. Motion to adjourn was made by Ken Plourde. Seconded by Henry Henke. Meeting adjourned 8:10 PM
