Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday April 21, 2010 Start Time 6:30 PM CT Attendees: Larry Hagemeister, Joe Bradish, Henry Henke, Ronnie Charnes, Tom Barrett, Mike Schroeder, Jim Thomas, Chris Thompson, Ken Plourde, Harald Koeber, Daren Roggentien 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson reported a balance of $21,715.25 with all bills paid in full 2: Membership Report: a. Tom Barrett reported that as of 3/31/2010 there were 433 members b. Wes Grueninger has been sending Tom a list of people that had requested guest memberships. Tom has been contacting them about joining the ERA. c. Tom is acquiring a list of rebuilders within a 150-200 mile radius of the ERA Trade Show. He is going to be contacting these rebuilders to make sure that they are aware of the ERA Show. d. Chris Thompson wanted to know if anyone has had any complaints on the dues increase. Tom reported that he hasn’t had any complaints. 3: Technical Committee Report: a. The technical committee is working on an article on 48 volt Leece Neville Alternators used on John Deere golf course mowers. b. Videos to be shown at the ERA Trade Show booth will be Web Site training Videos. c. Wes is preparing a newsletter for Polly to announce ERA Global in the ERE Newspaper. d. Wes is putting the finishing touches on the Jimco Generator Manual. He should have it finished by the end of April. e. Wes will have a Training Video on Denso slip ring collars ready after he finishes the Jimco Generator project. f. The technical committee felt that shop owners need to set up user names and passwords for employees to use the ERA Web Site. It was suggested that Larry have this in his Presidents Corner article in the ERE Newspaper. g. Tech phone line fees have been increasing. Motion made by Joe Bradish to increase money paid to Bob Thomas for phone line expenses for current and future increases not to exceed $50.00 per month. Seconded by Henry Henke All ayes motion carried.
