Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Sunday May 23, 2010 – Covington, Kentucky Start Time 7:10 AM EDT Attendees: Mike Schroeder, Joe Bradish, Wes Grueninger, Larry Hagemeister, Ronnie Charnes, Bill Skillings, Henry Henke, Dick Vensel, Alan Melton, Jim Thomas, Tom Reusser, Kenny Turner, Jerry Kieffer, Tom Barrett, Ken Plourde, Harald Koeber, Jason Kiser, Chris Galbreath, Daren Roggentien. Special Guests: Darlene Schroeder, Alan Reynolds, Bill Ernst, Rick Pate, John Boyles, Glenn Lee, Dean Conner. 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson a. Chris reported a balance of $13,420.02 all bills paid in full. 2: Membership Report: Tom Barrett a. Tom Barrett reported a current membership of 433. There was a high during the year of 456 members b. There were 4 new memberships’ sign up during the ERA Trade Show. c. Tom thought a possible way to get more members from the show would be to get a list of attendees to the show and contact the nonmembers. d. Dick Vensel thought we should reevaluate previous shows and look at the number of people that attended seminars to the number of people that attended the trade show to talk with vendors. e. Make personal contact with all new members informing them of all ERA member benefits. 3: Technical / Training Committee: Mike Schroeder a. MikeSchroeder explained to attendees the duties of the Training / Technical Committee. b. The #1 priority for the upcoming year will be to expand the video training library. c. The Tech. line has been receiving around 50 calls per month. All calls coming into the Tech. line are documented according to subject. If the subject is repeated several times the Technical / Training Committee looks at this a possible subject for a training video. d. There was a question brought up about new members having contact with a regional Vice president as well as the Tech. line? 4: New Business: a. Advertising Global Subscriptions: Ken Plourde Ken Plourde would like to have the ERA advertise the Global Subscriptions in other trade publications to try and get more International Rebuilders to subscribe.
