Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday December 15″”, 2010 Start time 6:30pm CST Attendees: Jim Thomas, Larry Hagemeister, Dean Conner, Alan Reynolds, Mike Schroeder, Ronnie Charnes, Jerry Keifer, Chris Thompson, Wes Grueninger, Joe Bradish, Kenny Turner, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson reported a balance of $26,297.15 with all bills paid in full. 2: Membership Committee Report: a. b. Tom Barrett reported via email that there were 428 members as of the end of November. Tom has talked with Dick Vensel about sending information on the ERA to his Overseas customers. Dick would like to send information to his customers via email. Tom has also talked with Wes Grueninger on the possibility on producing a video on what global members could access on the ERA Web Site. Tom also thought a flyer with the same information would be good idea. Tom informed that he has not had any extra time to compile calling lists for the membership drive and would like to wait until the first part of January to start on the phone calls. Wes said it wouldn’t be problem to extend the guest login information a month. Chris Thompson brought the idea of hiring someone on a part time basis to make membership phone calls on a regular basis. This was tabled until the January meeting. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. b. Wes Grueninger finished a training video that Dick Vensel produced. Wes has also added 46 equipment manuals that Dick Vensel sent him. Wes reported that he is working on wiring diagrams on classic cars that he obtained from Jack Kirkland. Joe Bradish is producing a video on testing rectifiers for Niehoff alternators with dual wound stators. Wes approached the Technical Committee about purchasing a shop press to assist him in producing videos on solenoid rebuilding. After the Technical Committee meeting Dean and Mike Conner of Conner Repair offered to purchase the press and donate it to the ERA. Tom Barrett and Ken Plourde talked with Wes on producing a video on using the ERA Web Site. Wes informed that this would probably take up to three weeks to make the video. It was the Technical Committees suggestion to continue to work on current projects at this time.
