Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday July 9″, 2014. President Henry Henke called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm CDT. Attendees: Art Glass, Alan Reynolds, Ronnie Charnes, Howie Gore, Henry Henke, Bob Thomas, Wes Grueninger, Gene Kaiser, Mike Schroeder, Mike Dietrich, Lynn Gross, Bill Ernst, Bill Skillings, Jerry Kieffer, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported a balance of $11,188.18 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Mike informed that the ERA opted to purchase a new computer for the ERA Office instead of paying the ransom fee to get rid of the virus that infected the old computer. 2: Membership Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported that the ERA Office would be attempting to use the QuickBooks program to run the associations business instead of paying the $600.00 plus fees to reinstall the association software. Mike added that with the computer problems there wouldn’t be any membership information to report. Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Howie Gore reported that the Technical/Training Committee conference call was well attended with 8 members on the call. Howie informed that the committee discussed topics for seminars for the 2015 ERA Trade Show and that they plan on having the seminars set by the end of July or the first part of August. Howie informed attendees that Bob Thomas will be closing his sop at the end of the year and wouldn’t be able to man the ERA Tech. Line as he has in the past therefore the ERA needs to come up with a plan foe the Tech Line. Howie added that the committee discussed sources on where to obtain antique parts. Exchange Newspaper Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that the July issue of The Exchange Newspaper went out on time and they are working on the August issue and plan on having it out on time.
