Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday August 6″, 2014. President Henry Henke was unable to attend the meeting. Vice President Larry Hagemeister chaired the meeting in his absence. Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm CDT. Attendees: Art Glass, Alan Reynolds, Ronnie Charnes, Mike Schroeder, Howie Gore, Wes Grueninger, Bill Ernst, Kenny Turner, Mike Dietrich, Gene Kaiser, Lynn Gross, Drew Withrow, Bob Thomas, Larry Hagemeister, Jerry Kieffer, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported the ERA has a balance of $13,185.89 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Mike informed that Darlene is on vacation and the ERA Office would be closed for 2 weeks. 2: Membership Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder informed attendees that he wouldn’t be able to give an accurate membership report because of the computer changeover. Mike reported that the new office computer was up and running. The office will be using Quickbooks for accounting as well as membership. Darlene is working with the ERA’s accounting firm to get this setup. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. b. Howie Gore reported that there were 7 attendees for the Technical/Training conference call. Howie reported that Bob Thomas had 89 calls on the ERA Tech. Line for the month. Howie reported that the committee has been working on setting up seminars for the 2015 ERA Trade Show and should have them all setup for a presentation at the September ERA Board Meeting. Some of the seminars will be Ag related. Howie informed attendees that Tech Articles for the ERA Web Site are slow being put together because of the extra time being spent on getting the final planning done for the 2015 ERA Trade Show and time spent on the Exchange Newspaper. Howie reported that the committee discussed putting together a Tech. article on where to purchase hard to find parts such as hairpin coil stators.
