Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday October 21™, 2015 President Mike Dietrich called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm CDT. Attendees: Ronnie Charnes, Alan Reynolds, Art Glass, Howie Gore, Scott Scharrer, Henry Henke, John Brillman, Bob Thomas, Kenny Turner, Matt Wight, Lynn Gross, Jerry Kieffer, Mike Dietrich, Mike Schroeder, Gene Kaiser, Bill Skillings, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported a balance of $24,424.40 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Mike reported that the Pay Pal account has been shut down. The Gateway is up and running and will need to be monitored closely for receipts. 2: Membership Report: a. Scott Scharrer reported that the ERA has a current membership of 419. b. Scott informed that he has been contacting Guest members from the past year. Many have expressed a lack of funds for not joining. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Howie Gore reported that there has been a good discussion in the past month on diode failures in alternators on the ERA Technical Committees Web Site. Bob Thomas will possibly be having a Technical article in an upcoming issue in The Exchange Magazine. Howie reported that Ken Plourde shared information that he received at the APRA Electrical Clinic on upgrades to the 39 MT starters. This information is on the ERA Web Site. Howie informed that Ken has also done a video on replacing brush holders on Bosch 223 starters and is in the ERA Technical library. 4: Exchange Magazine Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that he does not have a certain date on when the November issue of The Exchange Magazine will be sent out. Mike Schroeder informed that it is on track to go out as scheduled. Discussion was had on deadlines. A meeting will be had to confirm dates on times of the month that information needs to be completed. Ken Plourde questioned why some Vendors that advertise in the Exchange Magazine are acknowledged as being ERA members and some aren’t. Mike Schroeder explained that Stephanie does not have any idea who are members and who are not. Ken will contact Stephanie and get this corrected.
