Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday September 21%, 2016. President Mike Dietrich called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm CDT. Attendees: Art Glass, Ronnie Charnes, Bob Thomas, Lonnie Bain, Kenny Turner, Lynn Gross, Jessica Myers, Stephanie Schroeder, Matt Wight, Jerry Kieffer, Mike Dietrich, Ken Plourde, Mike Schroeder, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. Mike Schroeder presented a Profit and Loss Statement for the month of August 2016. b. Mike reported a balance of $31,721.54 in the ERA Checking Account with all bills paid. 2: Membership Report: a. Scott Scharrer was unable to attend the meeting. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Lynn Gross reported that he has received confirmation for seminars at the 2017 ERA Trade Show from Dan Marinucci and Mohammad Sammi. Lynn informed that he has been in contact with Bill Bowman on doing a seminar titled Alternator Electronics. Bill has worked for WAI and Renard and holds the patent on the D411 soft start regulator. Bill was referred to Lynn by Nathan Unger. Lynn added that he will contact Tim Weyandt with Allegiant Battery in the next week to confirm whether he will be presenting a seminar. b. Lynn reported that Nathan Unger will be sending a tape to Jessica to post on the ERA Web Site for the Technical/Training Committee to review. 4: Exchange Magazine Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that he is finishing up the October issue of the Exchange Magazine and it will be going to the printers the week of August 26″. Bob added there will be articles on Batteries and LED Lighting. b. Bob informed that he is the planning stage for the November issue and would like to have some ideas. Some suggestions were articles on 24 SI Alternators, Dump Truck Box Vibrators and Denso Hair Pin Alternators. 5: Exchange Magazine Advertising Report: a. Stephanie Schroeder reported that the number of advertisers has stayed the same with the possibility of a new advertiser coming on board.
