Minutes 2020 ERA Trade Show Committee November 20″, 2019 Ken Plourde called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm central time. Attendees: Stephanie Schroeder, Michele Schroeder, Mohammad Samii, Bob Thomas, Mike Dietrich, Ken Plourde, Mike Schroeder, Daren Roggentien. 1: 2020 ERA Trade Show Update: a. Michele Schroeder informed attendees that a tentative schedule has been put together for the 2020 ERA Trade Show (see attached). Michele added that an article needs to be put together for the J&N Tour on Thursday March 26″, 2020 for the ERA Web Site and the January issue of the Exchange Magazine. Michele added that they are waiting on Dan Smith for Seminar Topics at J&N on Thursday. Discussion was had on registration fees for the 2020 ERA Trade Show. Michele informed attendees that the fees for ERA Members for the 2019 ERA Trade Show were $150.00 for the Friday and Saturday Trade Show access, luncheons and the Saturday evening event, $250.00 for the entire event which included all Seminars, Thursday Tours and Saturday evening event. After discussion Mike Dietrich made a motion to set the fees for ERA Members for the 2020 ERA Trade Show at $195.00 for the Friday and Saturday Trade Show access, luncheons and the Saturday evening event, $295.00 for the Thursday J&N Tour and Seminars, Seminars on Friday and Saturday, luncheons, Friday and Saturday Trade Show access and the Saturday evening event. Mohammad Samii made a second to the motion. All ayes. Motion approved. Michele informed attendees that she would like to have all the schedule information turned into the ERA Office ASAP so they can get it included in the January issue of the Exchange Magazine. Michele added that they would like to get the Vendor Packets mailed out by the first week of December 2019. Mohammad Samii reported that he has only received one commitment from Al Steadman with Litens on doing a Seminar at the 2020 ERA Trade Show. Mohammad added that he will contact Dan Smith on being the Moderator for the Thursday evening Round Table discussion. Bob Thomas committed to assisting Dan. Mike Dietrich committed to a Seminar on Lathe & Cutting Tools and Shop Practices. Michele reported that they will be doing Show Binders again and will need Seminar Presenters and Seminar information as soon as possible. Ken Plourde questioned having a Seminar on Component Testing. Mohammad informed that most rebuilders have their own way of testing components and it would be very extensive to show various ways of testing components. Mohammad added that he could possibly expand on ways that he does testing of components at his shop.
