Minutes of the ERA Quarterly Board of Directors Meeting June 21, 2023, 7:30 p.m. CST The meeting was called to order by Board Charman Lonnie Bain. Roll call was taken, members attending were Nathan Unger, Lonnie Bain, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien, Bob Hopko, Bob Thomas, Jerry Kiefer, Stephanie Schroeder, Mohammad Sammi, Ken Turner, Pail Sailon, Mike Schroeder, Michele Schroeder and Dennis Jacinto. The consent agenda was approved. The minutes from the annual meeting and the treasurer’s report were approved. The ending checking account balance was $3999.47 with all bills paid. The membership report was given by Michele Schroeder. Current membership is 351. A total of 13 new rebuilder companies and 2 supplier companies have joined March thru May 2023. There was no correspondence received by the office. The Exchange magazine report was given by Stephanie Schroeder, she is currently working on the July issue. Nathan Unger, a contributing writer for the magazine advised the board that as of the September issue he would no longer be writing on a continuous basis. Bob Thomas reported that the website had very few issues. Mohammad Sammi advised that the tech help line usage had increased since the phone line is now working again. Nothing was discussed in the open forum. Mike Schroeder reported that the 2023 trade show in Seattle was a success. 111 members attended. It netted the association S 25,364.18. Mike Schroeder will contact the members of the Advisory Board to determine who will stay active and report at the next meeting. WAI has graciously given the association the PDF Format of the 2007 printing of their starter and alternator catalogs each contains nearly 750 pages. This will get added to the website’s library. WAI has asked the ERA to help administer a scholarship program that they want to fund in the name of Bill Ernst. The board of directors has agreed to help with the project with recipients to be announced at the spring 2024 trade show.
