New Style 2) Follow the positive (+) battery Relay cable to locate the starter-relay. Ford uses two styles of relays, as shown in Figure 1. It is not nec- essary to remove the wires going to the small terminals on the SeOTee starter relay (see Figure 1). NOTE: 3) Locate the cable between the direct-drive starter and _ the starter-relay. 4) Disconnect it from the starter- relay terminal and move it to the same terminal as the positive (+) battery cable.
