LEXIE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-1705 TBA Applications: 2011 — 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 6.6L Diesel 2011 — 2012 GMC Sierra 6.6L Diesel Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain of gauges fluctuating with the engine running and other electrical problems. The technician my find one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes in the system: POOCA P0091 P0087 P0088 P0092 P0182 P0183 P0521 P0522 P0523 P1088 P125A P125B P128E P2294 P2296 Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the wiring harness chaffing on the air conditioning lines. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and repair procedures which include repairing any wires with chaffing damage and tie straping them securely away from the air conditioning lines. Dixie recommends inspecting the lines and performing the “correction” before the customer complains of problems.
