chiwia . & | [| { 8 | anees / TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-1636 and S-1449 Applications: 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer built prior to April 2002 2002 GMC Envoy built prior to April 2002 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada built prior to April 2002 Condition: The vehicle may exhibit one or more of the following conditions: – no start – service engine soon light on – ABS warning light on – airbag light on – various electrical functions become inoperative Cause: A possible cause is moisture corroding the wiring harness in either the driver’s side or passenger’s side door. Correction: Inspect the driver door harness to determine if it has 9 or 11 wires, if it has 11 then check the passenger’s side. If the either side has 9 the open wire holes/slots must be filled with RTV silicone after inspecting for corrosion in the harness. If the harness shows signs of corrosion it must be replaced following the manufacturers recommended procedures.
