The technician may find that the 30A starter fuse is blown. Cause: A possible cause for this is that the purple starter wire may be chaffing against the air-conditioning line and creating an intermittent short circuit to ground. Correction: Follow the manufacturers recommended procedure for repairing and/or replacing the battery cable and re-routing it behind the oil dipstick to prevent re-occurrence… Don’t forget to change the fuse if it was blown.
