chiwia . & | [| { 8 | anees / TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-1449 Applications: 2006 Isuzu i-280 2.8L 4 Cylinder Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: e The engine runs rough on cold starts. e The engine cranks for en extended period when cold starting. e Both of the above conditions occur intermittently. The technician, when attempting to diagnose the problem may find no diagnostic trouble codes stored in the memory or may find P0300 and/or P1400. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the Powertrain Control Module calibration file. Correction: Ensure that the calibration file in the Powertrain Control Module is the most current one prior to performing any diagnostic work for the above conditions. There should be a decal referencing IBO8-03-S001 if the calibration file has been updated. If not, follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures to update the calibration file.
