The technician may observe one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes stored in the system: P0712 P0713 P0716 P0717 P0748 Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the transmission wiring harness may be misrouted and pulled taught against the transmission case, the transmission cable support bracket or both. Correction: Inspect the transmission wiring harness for chaffing and damage, repair the damaged wired (if any) and re-route the transmission wiring harness away from the transmission and the shift cable support bracket, if required, following the manufacturer’s recommended procedures.
